Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Kigali and transfer to the Airport
Upon arrival at the Kigali International Airport, you will be welcomed by a Unique Rwanda Vacation Experts company representative who will brief you on the safari and transfer you to your booked accommodation. Depending on the arrival time, you may take on a city tour by visiting different parts of the city as a way of accommodation to the new environment if its your first time to arrive in the country of a thousand hills.

Day 2: Transfer to Rusizi close to Congo boarder.
Today, after your morning breakfast, depart from Kigali and drive to Rusizi close. The drive takes 5 hours as you drive to the western part of the country. You will have stop overs as you enjoy the beauty of Rwanda marked by Loring hills and valleys as you take pictures for the souvenirs, to the boarder with Congo. On the way, visit the Kings Palace museum in Nyanza, to learn from the past history and leadership of the country. You will have a lunch in a local restaurant and continue with a transfer to arrival in Rusizi in the late afternoon, check in to your booked accommodation, dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking Experience transfer back to Kigali
Today with your early morning breakfast, with your parked you will depart from your hotel and cross to the boarder to Congo, after fulfilling the boarder processes, continue with a drive to Kahuzi Biega National Park. On arrival at the Park head quarter, you will have a briefing about gorilla trekking before starting the hike into the forest in search for the majestic gorillas. Once you meet them, you will be given one hour to spend with them as you observe their behavior as the feed and take care of their babies. This is also a good moment to take as many pictures for your souvenirs. after one hour you return to the starting point, embark on a transfer back to Kigali through the boarder. for lunch and transfer to Kigali.
