These Booking Terms and Conditions for Unique Rwanda Vacation experts are meant to enable you plan better for your wildlife safari. Contact us anytime for more clarification.

RESERVATIONS

Upon confirmation of a safari with Unique Rwanda Vacation Experts, we require you to pay 30% of the total tour cost to secure gorilla permits. While in the peak season from July to October a deposit of 40% of the total tour cost is required from the traveler so as to secure and reserve the gorilla trekking permits.

The balance should be paid two weeks prior to arrival. If you choose to pay on arrival, make sure to pay in cash as no other means of payment shall be accepted.
For bookings coming one month before departure we shall require the full payment of the tour costs.

The payment is made by international money transfer to the company bank account in Rwanda which is paid in USD.

OUR CANCELLATIONS

The cancellation penalty depends on the number of days before tour departure:

Before 60 days: Full refund of the Safari cost.
Between 60 days and 30 days: Refund of 70% of the safari cost.
Between 29 days and 15 days: Refund of 30% of the safari cost.
Less than 15 days: No refund.
There is no refund of any unused portion of your safari once inaugurated.

Importantly to note is; Gorilla Permit and Air tickets are not refundable when already booked.

The safari charges are based on all known costs and rates of exchange at the time of the transfer, any significant changes beyond our control will be immediately communicated to our clients.

We also retain the right to alter any arrangements due to local conditions. We also retain the right to refuse any person from participating or continuing any tour if that person causes or is deemed to cause hazard or inconvenience to other clients and to our environment and ecosystems.

Please note that in Uganda and Rwanda, the US dollar banknotes series before year 2006 are accepted only with a low exchange rate, therefore clients are advised to travel with more recent banknotes series.
