Day 1: Arrival in Bujumbura
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by a Unique Rwanda Vacation Experts company representative who will meet greet and transfer you to the hotel that has been booked for your dinner and stay overnight in Bujumbura

Day 2: Bujumbura City Tour
We will wake up for morning breakfast, meet our guide at the hotel for a briefing Drive to Rusizi National Park, home to hippos, antelopes, monkeys, and numerous species of colorful birds. See where River Rusizi empties into Lake Tanganyika. Afterward, route your way to the Explorers’ Memorial. Visit Albert’s zoo and enjoy a Tuk-Tuk tour on the shores of Lake Tanganyika. Dinner and overnight at
King’s Conference Hotel.

Day 3: Gishora –Gitega
After breakfast, drive to the source of the Nile and the amazing waterfalls. Continue to Gitega to visit the drum sanctuary of Gishora famous for drum making. The area has two ritual drums that have never been beaten after which we will have lunch and visit the National Museum and the Gitega city tour including the catholic village. Dinner and night at
Tropitel Hotel.

Day 4: Gitega- Ruvubu National Park
We will have breakfast, in the gItega, city is one of the busy hubs of Burundi, after which we will drive southwards to the tea plantations and palm oil, we will reach the sits and earn how they extract palm oil, later we will have lunch and walk to Ruvubu a forest reserve to experience wildlife

Day 5: Gitega, Nyanza – Kiwenga National Park
Drive south, Nyanza in no small palm tree plantation, and visit the palm oil production. Later on, have a nature walk-off Kigwena Forest Reserve; home to monkeys, baboons, and various bird species. Dinner and overnight at
Blue bay resort Tanganyika

Day 6: Mugara Hot Springs
We will have breakfast, followed by a visit to the Hot springs of Mugara, the springs are amazing to view as they make their magical drop into Lake Tanganyika, we will have lunch, visit the fishermen’s village and return to Bujumbura for dinner and stay overnight at

Meal plan: dinner and Breakfast.
Day 7: Departure
We will warm up with something to eat before we depart to the Bujumbura International Airport to catch our flight back home.
