Day 1: Arrival at Bujumbura International Airport
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by a Unique Rwanda Vacation Experts company representative who will transfer you to the hotel that has been booked for your dinner and stay overnight, take your time to relax as we wait for the following day’s adventures of primates.

Day 2: Drive to Kibira forest, Full day primates
Following an early morning breakfast, you will depart Bujumbura for the day’s adventures arriving in time at the park center for the primate walk, we will view numerous primates all day including the olive baboons, red-tailed monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys, l’hoest monkeys to mention a few, the terrain may be a bit challenging but rewarding by the end of the day, packed lunch will be had at the forest and later return for diner and staying overnight.

Day 3: Full day trekking and Birding in the forest
After early morning breakfast, you will drive to Kibira national park for a full day birding safari, Kibira borders Nyungwe forest, and its one of the true birding paradises in Burundi, Some of the important birds found here include the great blue turaco, mountain buzzard, white-spotted flufftail grey parrot, among the many birds of the forest we will drive back to the lodge for dinner and stay overnight.

Day 4: Boat cruise on River Rusizi
Following an early morning breakfast, you will be transferred to Rusizi national park, exploring the park’s wildlife including the schools of hippos. Along the river Rusizi are numerous birds to enjoy on our afternoon boat cruise, we will after drive to the community village to relax, drive back to Bujumbura for dinner and stay overnight at
