Day 1: Drive to Kibira Forest
Following an early morning breakfast, you will depart Bujumbura for the day’s adventures arriving in time at the park center for the primate walk, we will view numerous primates all day including the olive baboons, red-tailed monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys, l’hoest monkeys to mention a few, the terrain may be a bit challenging but rewarding by the end of the day, packed lunch will be had at the forest and later return for diner and staying overnight

Day 2: Full Day Trekking and Birding in the Forest
After early morning breakfast, you will drive to Kibira National Park for a full day birding safari, Kibira borders Nyungwe forest, and its one of the true birding paradises in Burundi, Some of the important birds found here include the great blue turaco, mountain buzzard, white-spotted flufftail grey parrot, among the many birds of the forest we will drive back to the lodge for dinner and stay overnight
