Detailed Itinerary.
Day 1: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
You will be picked by a Unique Rwanda Vacation Experts company representative early in the morning who will take you on a half day drive in to Fort Portal through papyrus swamps and thick jungle of the Nile Delta to Kibale National Park just under the Rwenzori Mountains. Make a stopover in Fort Portal for lunch at Gardens restaurant, thereafter drive at your Leisure to Kibale with an afternoon crater walk of Nyinambuga.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Habituation Experience
Today is dedicated for Chimpanzee Habituation Experience. Start the day with an early morning breakfast after which you will get packed lunch and you will head to the park headquarters for briefing from Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger guides. After the briefing, you will enter the jungle to track the chimpanzees. Take the best quality pictures of the chimpanzees and learn to identify them as individuals by their markings, sometimes scars and other unique features that make them stand apart from rest. Besides everything described there are the most colorful butterflies, plants and trees that will amaze you. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Bigodi Walk – Return to Kampala – Departure
After your breakfast, time permitting take a visit to the Bigodi wetland sanctuary for a Bigodi walk. This swamp is known for its rich diversity of its birdlife including the rare shoebill stock. Later proceed to Kampala or Entebbe airport with lunch en-route arriving in the evening in time for your outbound flight back home.
