This 10 Days Experience Rwanda Adventure Safari will give you a great memory of Rwandan tour and you explore and wrap up Rwandan attractions in just 10 days. You will be able to visit all the 3 Rwandan parks thus Nyungwe National Park and Volcanoes national park and Akagera National Park adding in a visit to Lake Kivu to spice up your stay. You will as well be able to interact with the local community as you go by your day activities. You will well be able to do gorilla trekking, chimpanzee trekking which is a life time adventure.
Day 1: Arrival in Kigali
Upon your arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be assisted through the immigration process and baggage collection with our meet and greet services. Following this, you will be warmly welcomed by our safari driver, who will provide a brief orientation before transferring you to your booked accommodation.

Day 2: Kigali City Tour – Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
This morning, after enjoying breakfast at your lodge, you will embark on a Kigali city tour. The tour includes a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial, followed by lunch. Afterward, you will be transferred to Musanze, near Volcanoes National Park, where you will settle in for lunch, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking – Cultural Village Visit
Begin your day with an early morning breakfast before heading to the park headquarters for a detailed gorilla trekking briefing. You will venture into the jungle in search of the shy mountain gorillas. Once you encounter these incredible creatures, you’ll have the opportunity to spend an hour observing their fascinating social behavior and capturing memorable photos in their natural habitat. Gorilla trekking requires a reasonable level of fitness, sturdy walking shoes, and essentials like insect repellent, sunscreen, a hat, and plenty of water. The trek can take a half or full day, depending on the gorillas’ movements. After this unforgettable experience, return to your lodge for a well deserved lunch. In the afternoon, immerse yourself in the local culture with a visit to the Iby’Iwacu cultural village, where you can explore Rwandan traditions and daily life.

Day 4: Golden monkey trek and transfer to Lake Kivu
Start your day with an early morning breakfast before heading to the park headquarters for a briefing on golden monkey trekking. The procedure for this activity is similar to gorilla trekking, and you will spend one memorable hour observing the golden monkeys in their natural habitat. After the trek, return to your lodge for lunch and then transfer to Kibuye, where you can spend your afternoon relaxing by the shores of Lake Kivu.

Day 5: Boat trip and transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park for canopy walk
After enjoying a leisurely breakfast, embark on a scenic boat ride on Lake Kivu, exploring its numerous islands. Later, you will transfer to Nyungwe National Park, a journey of approximately two hours. Along the way, take in the picturesque countryside, observe the vibrant local communities, and admire traditional Rwandan architecture. Upon arrival in Nyungwe in the afternoon, have lunch and in the afternoon, embark on a thrilling canopy walk, traversing the forest on a 70-meter-high suspended metallic bridge, offering breathtaking views of the park. Conclude your day with dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 6: Chimpanzee Trekking in Nyungwe Forest National Park
Today, after an early morning breakfast, you will depart your hotel to explore the natural wonders of Nyungwe Forest through a chimpanzee trekking adventure. Once you locate the chimpanzees, you will have one unforgettable hour to observe and experience their behavior in their natural habitat. After the trek, return to your lodge for lunch and spend the remaining of the day at the relaxation

Day 7: Fly to Kigali and transfer to Akagera National Park
After an early morning breakfast at 6:00 AM, you will head to Kamembe Airport for a local flight with RwandAir to Kigali. Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, your guide will meet you and transfer you to Akagera National Park, approximately a three-hour drive away. Upon reaching the park, you will check in at your lodge and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, you can either embark on a game drive or choose to relax at the lodge.

Day 8: Game drive in Akagera National Park
Full day game drive. After an early morning breakfast at 7:00 am and leave for a full day game drive, in Akagera national park to catch up with late hunters and early risers. We will be searching for the big mammals like Elephants, Giraffes, Buffaloes, several Antelope species, and recently the re-introduced Lions and Rhinos. The park is a varied habitat for wildlife and a number bird species with over 500 bird species in the park making it a birding paradise. Diner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 9: Game drive in Akagera National Park
Full day game drive. After an early morning breakfast at 7:00 am and leave for a full day game drive, in Akagera national park to catch up with late hunters and early risers. Day 10: Transfer back to Kigali for the departure
After having your breakfast, with your jeep 4×4 find your way to Kigali, and if time allows, enjoy a city tour for some shopping, depending on your flight time, you will be transferred to the airport to catch up with your flight back home.
